I became a Financial Advisor in 1996 after working as the General Manager of a local television station – it was there I was inspired to help others pursue their financial goals. I realized that my husband and I were missing a cohesive wealth management plan and lacked the time to handle the details of our investment portfolio. I discovered that others were also lacking a professional to help them manage all their financial needs, and I knew there was an opportunity to help.

Leading our experienced and professional team, my role is to oversee the creation and the periodic review of your portfolio, estate planning issues, and overall wealth strategies with you. Alongside the members of our group, I will spend as much time as needed to uncover and focus on your unique goals. This results in thoughtful and clear strategies for developing an understandable and well-disciplined, long-term plan.

I am a firm believer in our community. I currently serve as a trustee for the University of South Dakota Foundation, a member on the executive board for United Way’s Women United, and am an active member of the Siouxland Estate Planning Council. I have enjoyed being a regular contributor to the financial reports in the media. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of serving on the board of directors of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Siouxland, Council on Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence, Leeds-Hawthorne PTA, Mid-Step Services, Alpha Xi Delta Alumnae – Sioux City Chapter, Women’s Association of Financial Consultants, The University of South Dakota Alumni Association, Sioux City Community Schools Foundation, Wesley United Methodist Church, Siouxland Estate Planning Council, Mercy Alliance for Women’s Health, Mercy Health Foundation, and Siouxland Professional Women’s Network. I have also volunteered for the United Way, Junior Achievement, Midwest Volleyball Power Club, the Sioux City Chamber of Commerce, and Boy Scouts.

I grew up in Southern California and Vermillion, South Dakota. I earned a degree in Business Management from the University of South Dakota. My husband, Kal, and I have two grown children: Korey, my partner on the team, and Kamryn, a Registered Nurse. We have one grandchild. When I am not working with clients, I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friends, biking, walking, golfing, and traveling.
