Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated is a full-service wealth management and investment banking firm established in 1890. We are headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. Our firm provides securities brokerage, investment banking, trading, investment advisory, and related financial services to individual investors, institutions, corporations, and municipalities. We have more than 400 offices across the nation.
Our Location's History
Our local office dates back to 1952, when the Sioux City office of T.C. Henderson, an investment firm headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa, opened in the Badgerow Building. The first manager was Carl Sauer, who was then followed by Jack Koerner and Bob O’Neill. In 1970, the office was purchased by Piper Jaffrey, a Minneapolis-based brokerage firm. John Kelly was the first manager under Piper Jaffrey and served until 1992 – he was also the father of Cynthia Agnes, one of our financial advisors. Longtime advisor Pat Corey was branch manager until his retirement in 2021. Korey Kletschke is now our current branch manager. Stifel purchased the office in 2009.
Our office is located on the corner of 4th Street and Jackson Street in downtown Sioux City. You may park in the ramp adjacent to our building when you visit us. If you are out of town, we are happy to facilitate business via Zoom or phone calls.
